The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the result of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock exam conducted on May, 2023.

Is JAMB Mock Result for 2023 out?

YES!

JAMB Mock Result is out. All candidates who participated in the 2023/2024 JAMB mock examination can proceed to check their result with only their registration number on JAMB portal or through SMS below.

JAMB Mock Result Statistics

The Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has released the result statistics of the Candidates that Wrote 2023 Mock UTME.

Over 175, 000 candidates yesterday participated in the mock examination organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) ahead of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) scheduled to start on May 6.

JAMB registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, who monitored the exercise in some locations, said the mock examination was held across different CBT centres in the country and was successful.

He said: “I did sample inspections in Lagos and Ogun states, and the turnout was impressive. We are satisfied with the level of performance. In the process, a CBT Centre, Brain Point CBT Centre in Oko-Oba, Lagos State that could not sustain their generator was automatically delisted. I gave instruction that the candidates in the centre should be refunded their full money.

We had assured CBT centres of our support, and that was why we allowed the centres to collect up to N1,000 instead of the earlier N700, so they can continue to give their best to the candidates. Some of the institutions especially tertiary institutions need to keep up and maintain their facilities because some of them are substandard.

But we are happy with the general performance of the examination and we urge all students to make sure that they learn from the lesson of the mock examination which is to test their ability. In the two states I visited, the centres worked very well. We only urged stakeholders to learn from the mock examination.

175, 000 candidates sat for the examination. We limited the number because we do not want to do more than one session across the country.

The first step is to;

1. Log on to http://www.jamb.org.ng/efacility/CheckUTMEMockResults Or check jamb main result 2023
2. Enter your Registration Number
3. Click on check mock results

How to print JAMB Mock Exam Result slip

1. Candidates who are writing the mock exam should log in to the portal https://www.jamb.gov.ng
2. Click on e-facility

What next after checking your name in the JAMB Score

Please take note of the following about JAMB Mock

1. A Mock exam is an examination taken as practice before an official examination
2. JAMB mock examination was conducted to give you an idea on what the JAMB CBT feels like.
3. The mock exam is not a requirement to write the main exam. So that you did not participate in the mock exam does not mean you are not qualified to write the main exam.
4. The result of the mock exam will NOT reflect in your main examination or said differently, doesn’t count as part of your main JAMB result.
5. You will still write the main JAMB exam like every other registered candidate even if you don’t participate in this mock exam.
6. The questions that will appear during the Mock exam are not necessarily the questions that will appear during the main exam. The questions are just to prepare your mind on likely areas you may focus on.
